National service & the OMBAC connection
George Conahey represented the USA in sevens before serving the national programme as manager and trainer. Emil Signes’s Benidorm archive identifies him in the May 22–23, 1992 USA squad photograph and records his try in the Eagles’ 16–12 win over Ukraine. This establishes at least one played international sevens tournament; it is not a complete career count. The Spanish federation’s 1998 international sevens programme separately lists him as USA physiotherapist. OMBAC honours his playing and support service on its original Eagles roll.
