John Tarpoff represented the USA at prop from 2002 to 2006; his archived career record lists twelve XV appearances. The Spanish federation’s April 2003 bulletin explicitly records his club as OMBAC San Diego. He was selected for the 2003 Rugby World Cup. Damien Meyer’s October 10 training photograph names Tarpoff on the left, Richard Liddington in the centre and Mike MacDonald on the right at Queensland University Stadium in Brisbane.
